Examples in Modern Mathematics (PocketBook)

This book is intended primarily for pupils preparing for the Modern Mathematics papers of certain C.S.E. boards and for

those following the new G.С.Е. syllabuses. It is hoped, however. That it will also prove useful for groups at other levels. Decimal currency and metric units are used throughout.

It is assumed that pupils will already have covered most of the basic work and will be using this book mainly for revision:

therefore the text is brief and its main purpose is to remind pupils of the more difficult ideas and processes

Whilst most of the examples are of examination standard some are designed to revise fundamental ideas and some to

stimulate further thought.
