Partial Differential Equations

The book treats of basic boundary-value problems for elliptic partial differential equations of the second order and Cauchy problem and mixed problems for hyperbolic and parabolic equations. Generalized solutions are widely used.

The reader of the book is supposed to be familiar with general course of higher mathematics for mathematical and physical departments of universities.

All the necessary prerequisites from functional analysis and the theory of junction spaces are presented in the book.
