Ancient History Prosveshcheniye 1965

What is History? In the 4th form you studied the history of the U.S.S.R. over the last 1,500 years. You learnt how our forefathers lived and worked how they fought against aggressors and oppressor. You must remember that the ancient State of Russia was formed over 1,000 years ago and that Moscow united Russian lands around itself nearly 500 years ago.

You have heard and read how V. I. Lenin founded the Communist Patry, how the Great October Revolution won a victory in this country and a powerful socialist state, the        Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, was set up.
