Names on an Obelisk

Names on an Obelisk is a historical and ideological study, first published in 1983, co-authored by Dmitry Valovoi and Henrietta Lapshina. The book explores the names engraved on a stone monument in the Alexandrovsky Gardens of the Moscow Kremlin, tracing the lives and contributions of revolutionary thinkers, philosophers, and socialist leaders. Through meticulous research, the authors provide insights into Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, August Bebel, Thomas More, and others, examining their impact on socialist ideology and historical movements.
