CORAZÓN DE ESPAÑA is a small anthology of Spanish narrative literature. The Stories are re-told in brief from and in simple, direct literary style.

The volume presents typical Spanish masterpieces, ranging in the time from the twelfth century to the twentieth and representing the following literary genres: the epic poem, the Oriental tale, the medieval ballad, the Moorish novel, the romance of roguery, the novelette, the novel, the romantic legend, the folk story, the historical romance, and the modern realistic novel.

A new method of introducing great literature on a first year level is offered in the present book.
