The Cypress Tree

The Cypress Tree (2011, Bloomsbury) by Kamin Mohammadi is a poignant memoir tracing the author’s journey from exile to rediscovery. Fleeing Iran during the 1979 Revolution, Mohammadi grew up in Britain, distanced from her heritage. At 27, she returns to Iran, uncovering family stories and cultural roots shaped by revolution, war, and resilience. A lyrical tribute to identity and belonging. Available at Best Book Centre.
