Children at Play

This 130-page collection showcases the imaginative world of Alice Otterloop and her preschool classmates from the Cul de Sac comic strip. Richard Thompson blends witty dialogue with expressive, scribbly artwork to capture the surreal logic of childhood. From chaotic art projects to existential snack dilemmas, the strip offers a hilarious and heartfelt look at suburban life through the eyes of precocious kids. Introduced by Mo Willems, it’s a must-read for fans of Calvin and Hobbes and Peanuts.
