Woman in Indian Culture

“Women in Indian Culture” engages itself in an in-depth analysis of religious, historical, cultural and social factors that enable matriarchy to trample women under the feet of any man even if he is a leper and an imbecile. Sri Padma Rao’s scholarly and powerful exposition of Manusmriti and Vatsayana’s Kamasutra subjecting women as mere objects of male sexual gratification and nothing else, questions very strongly the parameters of Indian culture and civilization.
