The present age will go down in history as the decisive stage in the struggle of mankind for emancipation from colonialism. Upon the emergence of the world socialist system, and under the direct influence of this event of world historical significance, a mighty wave of national revival swept over the vast territories of Africa, Asia and Latin America. The national-liberation movement, assisted by the world socialist community and the international working class, has dealt the imperialist colonial system a fatal blow.
