Philosophical Anthropology is concerned with the nature and essence of the human being(self) and Saiva Siddhanta makes its own contribution to this perennial philosophical problem. It is unusual to deal with themes like philosophical Anthropology in the Indian tradition. In this sense, the work Centrality of Self in Saiva Siddhanta is a contribution to research work done in Indian philosophy. There is no doubt that the author is very well acquainted with the basic issues of the basic issues of the Saiva Sisshanta tradition. – Jayandra Soni
