The Sindhis are from the periphery of Indus, the longest of the three great rivers of the south-asian sub-continent, flows through a land of dramatic differences in landscape and climate, a land where man has lived for millennia. The ruins of Mohan-jo-Daro and Harappan cities, past which legions of invaders have marched, tell of a civilization that rivals in antiquity those of Sumer and ancient Egypt.
