This is the first comprehensive account of religious developments in Andhra from the earliest times upto the fall of the Kaktaiyas in 1324 A. D. The author says in his Introduction that considerations of space prevented his from including in these book accounts of religious leaders and institutions. It may be hoped that the scholarly world will welcome this unbiased and authoritative account and thus encourage its author to publish its supplement at an early date.
