What we are attempting to present in The Energy Book is a sense of perspective on some of the issues associated with living at the end of one energy era and the beginning of another. The book does not pretend to give you all the answers to the myriad questions that concern energy. Nor is it a discussion of how to survive in a world beset with rising fuel costs and shortening fuel supplies. What it is, is a collection of essays by a number of different people from a variety of Fields who have spent some time thinking about the subject.
