Various events involving the Sikhs and Punjab have been laced in this book. The author has dealt from the birth of Gurunank and traversing through various events arrived at the present day situation. In his effort he tried to take the reader to the scene.

Sikhs have a distinct religion and an enriched region. They are enterprising and hard working people. On any criteria of modernization or development, the state of Punjab stood atop in India. Having achieved success in every walk of life, today the Sikhs are compelled to struggle for their own identity. Surely, happenings of the last few years have not distracted the strong character of this State. It is unfortunate that public postures towards “Punjabis” and vice versa others in the country were allowed to be polarized.
