Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose will always be remembered for his patriotism, honesty, courage, conviction, uncompromising attitude on principles and shrewd diplomacy. Subhas joined the Indian National Congress in 1921, soon after resigning from ICS. He never believed that peaceful agitations like the noncooperation and civil disobedience movements were going to bring Independence. He said so at the Calcutta session of the AICC in 1928. In 1932, while he was undergoing jail term, probably for Medical treatment.
